Finished commission for Scarlet!!
He asked me to design a Skullkid version of his character, Mathilde— ultimately I’m very happy with the outcome!
I designed the mask to resemble the character herself; the golden ‘hair’ is actually just a bunch of ribbons keeping the mask on. Since Mathilde is very girly looking, I tried to take a sort of feminine spin on the Skullkid costumes and I think it worked pretty well.

Next 3D Mario won’t be a Galaxy game
3DS Kirby and 3DS Metroid game in development but we won’t see it anytime soon
Retro Studios working on a shooting game from an established IP. Scan scenery with Wii U gamepad and use the pad to control a spaceship (my guess is Starfox)
Mario Kart U will be presented and playable at E3. Online, lots of MiiVerse options.
Teasers for Bayonette 2 and Yoshi’s Island 3.
Shocking reveal for Smash Bros U/3DS. The game will feature slightly different gameplay. 3DS version will be very different from Wii U version. Newcomers shown in trailer: Tom Nook, Palutena, Dark Pit, and Bayonetta.
